Mohammad Anowar Hossain is a Bangladeshi poet, novelist, and short story writer. He spent his childhood in various parts of Bangladesh, but it was the bustling, solitary, light-and-shadow-filled city of Dhaka that became the quiet muse behind his poetry. After a long journey through life and experience, he found his true home in literature—where stories and poems are his language of truth. Through his words, Anowar explores love, loneliness, heartbreak, betrayal, and the silent complexities of human emotions. His poetry flows in a soft yet powerful voice, weaving tender and toxic shades of love that resonate deeply with readers. His published works include the poetry collection Serotonin (2022), the romantic novel Valobashar Shohore Smritir Karagare (2023), and the short story collection Synthetic Coffee (2024), all of which have been warmly received by readers both in Bangladesh and abroad. Bishakto Modhu (2025) is his second poetry collection. More about the author: https://anowarstories.com/
